An independent exploration of design and direction.
01 / The starting point
A story worth
giving form.
The imagined brief is for a small ceramics studio that sells slowly and writes occasionally. Rather than a marketplace template or a feed of every mug, the concept is a room: current work, notes on the making, and a way to enquire about a piece.
02 / The design language
The details
make the
difference.
- 01
Objects are photographed on dark timber so the clay stays warm against the interface.
- 02
Pages are few. A journal sits beside the work, because the studio’s voice is part of the brand.
- 03
One-off pieces are enquiries. A simple checkout appears only where an edition repeats.
03 / The finished form
An idea,
made tangible.
A short identity — wordmark, one clay accent used sparingly — and a website with collection, journal, and visit pages. Concept project.
